Love Me Beauty September Box

This month Love Me Beauty have changed the way their subscription service works. On the old system you were given the choice of 3 menus each with 5 or 6 products, with slight variation between the 3 box choices. After a few too many hick-ups with the new website launch on 5th September subscribers now get given 6 credits each month to create their very own bespoke box! Typically full sized items are worth 2 credits and sample/dulex sizes are worth 1 credit. Currently the sizes are not shown for the products which is a tat annoying. They are still working on developing the site so hopefully these little mistakes will be rectified soon.

Love Me Beauty was the very first beauty box I signed up to, and initially I was annoyed by the change. There was no warning, and with the new credit system if you wanted 3 full sized items then thats all your credits gone! Where as before the boxes contained 3 or 4 full size and a couple sample sized items. It would be more fair to have 8 credits at least instead of the 6. Maybe I'm being greedy!

However you are not just limited to 6 credits per month. If there are more products that you would like in your box you can add them to your box as an 'add on' item.  Additional products will be charged at an exclusive membership discounted rate from the high street. This is dependent on the size and value of the product.

I wasn't overly impressed with the options available mostly due to the fact the majority of brands & products have been featured in previous boxes. As a result I have picked 2 products I have received before. I hope next month brings different products....more hair care please!

 Anyway enough rambling....
My skincare oriented box! 1 full size and 4 sample size items.

The first product I chose S5 Restore Cream (15ml) for normal/dry skin, was an item I received in my very first box here. I really enjoyed used this, so I'm glad I was able to get another sample. Staying with this brand my next item is S5 Balance Fluid (15ml) which is for oily/normal skin. Both of these products contain age defying ingredients to reduce appear of fine lines and wrinkles. They retail for £39 for 50ml making these samples worth £7.80 each!

Murad Pore & Line Minimizing Hydrator is an item I received in my March box  Full size is 50ml and cost £49.50. This is a 10ml sample and is worth £9.90! This multi-tasking moisturiser refines pores and provides essential hydration to soothe and help repair skin breakouts.

As I'm all about minimizing pores this month my next item, T-Zone Pore Refining Serum also by Murad, clears pores and gently exfoliates to removes skin imperfections to leave you with a refreshed and healthy complexion. This is a teeny tiny 3.7ml sample worth £3.63 (full size £49 for 50ml).

Lastly I chose Oriflame Skin Dream BB Cream SFP 30 (full size 30ml £10.95) I received the lightest shade which is perfect for my pale complexion. It evens out my skintone by camouflaging redness and imperfections on my skin.

So there we have it the new improved Love Me Beauty box! Overall I am pleased with my box.
Next month the box should come in the newly branded box instead of just in the drawstring bag.
